of July 2015! I am super excited and I can’t keep calm! It is official that I
am now 1,2,3,4,5,6.7,8,9,10….20… 30.. years old! I am so happy and most
grateful to God.If you know what I have been through this last one year, you will understand my
excitement. I have survived two accidents with long haul trailers that almost
squashed my car and mau! I was so overwhelmed with fright that I
couldn’t engage the ‘aboki’ illiterate drivers in any ‘english battle’.
With shaken legs and palpitating heart I drove off, with a million thanks
pouring from my lips to God. You get to appreciate life most when
you experience a close call with death.
I am thankful for my kids, need I say much about them? Rossie memoirs expresses all the lessons, love and laughter I have learnt and am still
learning from this journey called ‘Mimi & Didi’s mom’. This honour has only
been accorded to me by the Most High.
I am thankful for loving and inspiring relationships. In this year, I have made
new friends, rediscovered the treasure in my ‘old’ friends, got (acquired.
lol!) new wives that came from siblings getting married (I am officially an iya
lo de); and fell in love afresh with my ‘gentleman’. I even had opportunities
to mentor few young people- amazing grace!!
Also in this year, I have become wealthier with new blessings and favour I
could never have attended by my toil or efforts. I came into many wonderful
acquisitions that were truly beyond my highest expectations.
The joy, laughter favour and blessings I have experienced all-through the
months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds that has finally culminated to
this day of my birth anniversary has been flavoured by you all – blogsville, family,
friends, foes and God.
So here is my unreserved thanksgiving accolade! Hahahahahahahah!!!!
Soo don’t keep calm! Shout it on the rooftop – it’s trendy-mama’s
birthday!
